Communication Internship

OceanWings designs, manufactures and markets semi-rigid and rigid wingsails designed for installation on cargo ships, helping to reduce CO2 emissions by cutting fossil fuel consumption.

Job Description: 

We are seeking a motivated Communication Intern to assist with various communication tasks, with a significant focus on video creation and website support.

The intern will be supervised by the Marketing and Communication Manager. For all these missions, you will be supported and trained.

Missions :

  • Assist in the creation and editing of video content: brainstorm, shoot, and edit video materials (employee portraits for LinkedIn, portrait of our founder, etc.).
  • Update the company website: Add news and create new pages.
  • Help develop and implement marketing and sales tools: Create use cases, sales kits, etc.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting company events and communications: We will have some big events this year with the construction of our new OceanWings !
  • Support, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns.

You will have the opportunity to visit our factory in Caen twice to discover our product.

Profile and skills :

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communication, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field (at least Bac+3 - Bac +5)
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong interest in video production and digital media.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Basic knowledge of website management (Workflow, Wordpress).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity, organization and punctuality.
  • A passion for maritime and/or ecological issues is a plus.
